Dear Ms Acheson

Your suggestion that cinemas provide recordings of the soundtrack is still discriminatory & for the "privilege" of having the soundtrack on an ipod, the person has to pay more on top of the movie ticket.

I understand that the payment will be refunded but I still think it discriminates against deaf people.

Instead of insisting that cinemas provide captioning and audio description at film screenings, why not ask them to provide recordings of the soundtrack on ipod (or similar). This could be available to anyone who has even a slight hearing problem for a refundable deposit.
