Aleshanee Faery

Aleshanee Faery is a multi-disciplinary artist. She prefers analogue and handmade mediums.

Aleshanee was born on Wurundjeri land. She attended the North Adelaide School of Art, and worked in community radio. From the mid-1990’s she spent two decades in the performing arts industry. She worked as a stage manager, lighting technician and contemporary circus performer. Aleshanee returned to visual arts after injury.

The natural environment is the source of inspiration. Her favourite mediums are printmaking, sculpture, textiles, photography, and drawing.

She is a member of Arts Access Victoria’s Nimbus Studio which often exhibit group shows. Her work is in collections around Australia. She has exhibited in Australia since 2015.
