Every Brilliant Eye: Australian Art of the 1990s explores a decade in Australian art. The works are from the NGV’s collection and reveal a time of dramaticchange as artists adopted new technologies and increasingly varied ways of making art.

Exploring grunge to techno, identity politics and cyborg culture, works include video, installation, photography, painting, sculpture, drawing, fashion and design, as well as ephemera from various artist collectives, artist run spaces and various Melbourne subcultures.
