Melbourne Fringe FAQ Sessions: Marketing
Melbourne Fringe provides hands-on support to artists at every step along the road to the festival, including free Fringe FAQs which are packed with tips and tricks to help you produce your work.

Want to learn more about promoting your work and building an audience? Need to understand why it’s important for artists and producers to engage with media? It can be intimidating and difficult to find an approach, but never fear – Fringe is here to help!
In Fringe FAQ #3 you’ll learn to:
- Identify which media outlets are the best medium to publicise your work
- Define the key messages you want to communicate
- Pitch a story to different types of media

Trams that stop in front of Arts Centre Melbourne, stop number 14:
3, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 and 72
Get off at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne CBD and walk for a couple minutes toward St Kilda Road.
The Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle runs in a loop through Melbourne CBD every 30 minutes, and stops at Arts Centre Melbourne on St Kilda Road (Stop 1).
Open 24 hours a day, our car park entrance is located on Sturt Street. Parking options include early bird, standardor valet parking. Park for less than one hour and parking is free.
All levels of the Arts Centre Melbourne Car Park are fully wheelchair accessible; accessible parking bays are clearly marked and available on both levels with easy access to our theatres. 17 spaces are on the Upper level (turn left after entry gates) and 5 spaces are on the Lower level, just after the entry gates.
