Ignition Theatre open for 2017
Ignition Theatre, a program for people with intellectual disabilities and individual learning needs who love making theatre, performing, working backstage and front of house, is now taking applications for the 2017 program!
Students can study for one year and develop skills relevant to working or volunteering in the performing arts and theatre industry, then choose to continue onto the second year to complete the Certificate 1 in Work Education. In the second year, students develop other work related industry skills in: retail, multimedia, packing, horticulture, clerical, trades and hospitality.
You can choose to learn part-time (2 days per week) or full-time (3 days per week). Students undertake work experience in both years in industries related to their goals.
