Mama Alto takes home Fringe Access award

Benny Dimas – aka diva, jazz singer and cabaret artiste Mama Alto – has been awarded the Outstanding Access Award at the 2016 Melbourne Fringe Festival for Extravaganza

Presented by Arts Access Victoria, nominees for Outstanding Access were judged against not only the accessibility of their performance, but also on how inclusive the production was behind the scenes. 

Extravaganza took the award out for the cast and crew's firm and ongoing commitment to facilitating pathways for diverse communities to create and engage with the arts.
