Why Art

In concurrence with Mental Health Week (8-14 October), Why Art is a group exhibition that traces the process of art between making and thinking.

Showcasing works by 14 artists with different experiences of mental health, this exhibition displays the miscellaneous reasons why art is important for many creators.

  • Opening: Thursday 12 October, 5 to 6pm
  • Exhibition runs from 12 October to 14 December 2017

Skin Gallery is an initiative created in conjunction with Arts Access Victoria and the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc. Skin Gallery provides local artists with the opportunity to display their works, and a creative outlook for Foundation patients and staff.
