Writers wanted for new journal

Snap is seeking contributions from anyone living in Australia who identifies as having a disability or a mental illness.

Snap is a new online disability journal that will be launched in 2016. It’s a quality online literary journal that offers an independent voice for writers with disability or mental illness. Contributions of short fiction, creative non-fiction, essays and poetry are now being sought.

You can write about any topic you choose – it doesn’t have to be about disability or mental illness – and submit up to three works (with a maximum of two works from each category below). Submissions will be judged on their literary merit, and all works published by Snap will be paid for.

All works that are submitted to Snap must be previously unpublished. Writers who have not yet been published are encouraged to contribute.
