For Maree G, Beacon represents light, hope, transformation and the rediscovery of creative purpose. She is a multidisciplinary artist, known for her work in painting and sculpture. This exhibition marks her debut in publicly presenting photography and multimedia in combination with her original music.
Her images capture fleeting moments of beauty and authenticity, found during travel and personal exploration. Each photograph reflects a deeper journey—and a reconnection with the creative spirit, that energises and sustains her.
This series is both personal and universal, affirming Maree’s belief that – “Even in the face of adversity, there is always light to be found, new beginnings to embrace and a sense of wonder to rediscover”.
Maree G has attained an Associate Diploma of Fine Art, a Postgraduate in Art Therapy and is represented in many private collections and publications.
