Assistance animals.
Guide Dogs and Assistance animals are welcome at Thrive Festival and water bowls are
available at the Nebula.
Audio Descriptions
The Nebula State will have audio descriptions for all performances and films.
‘Creating Sick’ will be audio described
All artworks will have online audio descriptions that can be found here and next to each work.
Auslan
To ensure access for the Deaf community, Auslan interpreters will be available for all spoken events including speeches, introductions, forums, workshops and Q&A sessions. (check about ignition immersive)
Braille
‘Iconic Landmarks of the Emerald Hill precinct’ at Gasworks Art Park has braille to acompanie the art works.
Open Captioning
All films screened as part of Thrive Festival will be captioned.
Quiet rooms
Quiet rooms will be available at all venues except for Nebula (quiet rooms will be next door in the AAV offices) and the South Melbourne Markets.
Support workers
There will be support workers and people to help with way-finding throughout the festival.
Touch or tactile tour
‘Iconic Landmarks of the Emerald Hill precinct’ at Gasworks Art Park is a tactile exhibition where you can feel the artwork linocuts and there is braille.
Wheelchair access
All venues are wheelchair accessible.
