Celebrate the Closing Night of Alter State with music, immersive performance, food and fun. Journey with us through the creative space of Collingwood Yards.

Join us for the Closing Night celebrations of Alter State 2026! Presented and produced by Arts Access Victoria, YIRRAMBOI and EquiArts.

Tickets are free! Please follow the link to register. If you’d like to donate, you can use the pay-what-you-feel option to contribute to Arts Access Victoria and YIRRAMBOI.

Food vendors will be on site for dinner and drinks, as needed. Food prices will be subsidised for registered attendees.

Agenda

Performers will portray a perfect summer’s evening in an immersive durational experience. Featuring music, dance and mind-bending live performance. No two people will experience the same evening. Take your time in each space. Watch, listen and feel, then return later to see how the performance changes.

YIRRAMBOI joins forces with Crip Rave Theory for Body Language, a mixed-genre rave. Heavy, sweaty, sonic grooves, built for sensory seekers and music lovers.

Close out Alter State with deadly DJs playing genres spanning drum & bass, techno, footwork, afrobeats, amapiano, rap, RnB and Blackfulla music.

Disability-led and grounded in First Nations and Diasporic solidarity, this event is a space for mob and allies to gather in celebration of our communities.

A true curation of multiple art forms and performers within the beating heart of our creative scene in Australia.

Access

Content Advisory: Loud music, explicit lyrics and low lighting.

Sensory Advice: Loud music and flashing lights may be present in some performances.

Service Dogs will have access to nature strips in the courtyard as required. We will have staff on site to assist you to explore what’s open as required.

Calm space: The calm space will not be soundproof but will be available for respite from music and interaction. A calm space will be provided for recalibration as required.

Earplugs will be available for everyone. A Social Story will be provided ahead of the event. Air purifiers will be available, and Access Aunties will be on site to provide support. There will be no strobe or haze.
