TOFF is turning 21! Join us to celebrate on Wednesday 12 November.
We invite you to celebrate The Other Film Festival’s 21st birthday. We are launching our 2025 program on Wednesday, 12 November at ACMI at Fed Square.
There will be screenings, speeches and networking. Enjoy a selection of local shorts from this year’s program at the launch.
Also, we are awarding the 2025 Stella Young Award.

Where: Swinburne Studio, ACMI, Flinders St, Melbourne and online

The 2025 Program
Enjoy a selection of Deaf and Disabled films with a major focus on Australian shorts and documentaries. In Melbourne and online Australia-wide at ACMI Cinema 3, accessible and free. Screening Thursday 20 November to Wednesday 3 December. All films will be captioned and audio described.
The Other Film Festival (TOFF) is a ground-breaking disability-led program that places Deaf and Disabled people at the centre of the Australian screen industry. Founded in 2004, TOFF is Australia’s first international disability film festival and a leader in the global disability screen advocacy movement.
The Other Film Festival is supported by The City of Melbourne, as our major festival partner, and The Victorian Government through VicScreen’s Audience Engagement Program.
