Art Day Smackdown Exhibition

Celebrating the dynamic art of the Art Day South studio

A red drawing of a cat with a pink belly and blue eyes, on a multicoloured background.

Untitled (Tiffany), John Eslick, paint and pastel on paper, 2020.

Art Day Smackdown celebrates the marvellous work of the Art Day South (ADS) studio artists. In the words of ADS artist Heather White.

“We’re all friends and we have a happy time together and play music and we do different art together. When it is home time we don’t want to go home. Our artworks are very colourful and they stand out.”

The Art Day Smackdown exhibition at G3 Artspace encompasses a little bit of everything from the dynamic practices of the studio artists: sculpture, graphic illustration, gestural painting, textiles, costume design and installation. The exhibition runs from Friday 4 March – Saturday 2 April.

Please contact studio coordinator Kate Stodart at kstodart@artsaccess.com.au for more information about the exhibition.

Art Day Smackdown is supported by Kingston Arts through the City of Kingston.
