Capturing the City – Mural launch

Join us for the launch of a new collaborative mural by young Deaf and Disabled artists.

A young man kneels in front of a pink, red, yellow and black painting.

Presented in partnership with SIGNAL City of Melbourne, you are invited to celebrate young Deaf and Disabled artists and their love of Melbourne.

Students from across Melbourne have come together to create a six-panelled collaborative mural on the Les Erdi Plaza outside SIGNAL on Northbank. Their artwork is inspired by Melbourne’s public transport maps and showcases what they love about the city. Arts Access Victoria’s own Caroline Bowditch will be joining us to celebrate young artists and programs for young people.

Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

The event will also be livestreamed.

Artists: Students from Ashwood School, Berendale School, Yarrabah School, and Victoria University Polytechnic’s Western Futures and Transition Education programs

You can RSVP by email, or phone 9699 8299 (voice only)/ 0401 224 864 (text or voice), or by filling in the form below. Please register if you want to receive a reminder with the link to the livestream.
