The days of Deaf and Disabled people being erased, misrepresented or under-employed by the mainstream have gone. Be part of the global disability screen advocacy movement.
Join us for a disability-led conversation. The session facilitator is Fiona Tuomy – Artistic Director, The Other Film Festival.
The session will:
- Explore practical ways the screen sector can embrace access. What does this look like in development and production?
- Discuss how to create paid employment opportunities in the screen sector. What are the career pathways for Deaf and Disabled screen practitioners and performers?
This session is for Deaf and Disabled screen practitioners and performers at any stage of their career. You are at the centre of an important screen conversation. Allies welcome.
