Arts Access Victoria presents Mini Snug Rock at Soundbox! Come along and check out Katie Dey, the winner of the Arts Access Victoria Amplify award at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards!
Katie Dey is an experimental pop musician, and recently won the Music Victoria Amplify Award. She has released five albums. She co-produced Georgia Maq of Camp Cope’s debut solo album ‘Pleaser’ in 2019 (featured as Triple J’s Album of the Week). Katie’s sixth album, “never falter hero girl” was released on October 27th.
Jes Layton (he/him/she/her) is MCing the event. Jes is an author and illustrator currently living and working on Wurundjeri Land. He is the current co-CEO/Executive Director of the Emerging Writers’ Festival.
Katie Dey is performing as part of the ALWAYS LIVE Soundbox program. A selection of music, workshops and more over ten days in November. All in a fully functioning pop-up audio studio in Arts Centre Melbourne Forecourt.
Katie Dey performs 12 pm – 1 pm, Thursday 30 November.
The performance is Auslan interpreted and captioned.

There will be no flashing lights.
There will be seats available and Arts Access Victoria staff around.
There will be a quiet space inside Arts Centre Melbourne. Please take the lift inside Arts Centre to Level 3. The room will be signposted as you exit the lift on Level 3. Please ask Arts Access Victoria staff if you have trouble finding it.
