Future Reset – Maker Space is a series of free in person and online visual and digital arts workshops. They are for young Deaf and Disabled people aged 18 – 25 at any skill level. Beginners welcome! This is a safe space for making art, socialising and creating community with your peers. The workshops are split into terms with different artists leading them. The focus for term 5 is exhibition preparation for the Maker Space end of year showcase.
You are still welcome to come along to make art and hang out if you’re not part of the exhibition.
7 September: Exhibition preparation and art making, focusing on printmaking. Led by Luke King.
21 September: Exhibition preparation and art making, led by Lily Montgomery-Primmer. Teague Leigh, Curator of the exhibition, will drop in to provide guidance.
5 October: Exhibition preparation and art making, artwork photography day
12 October: A reflection session where we will create art, talk about our time at Future Reset – Maker Space and talk about what’s next.
