Irene and Evelyn be talking about their creative process, sharing tips on expanding music practice and more. After their in-conversation panel each artist will perform a short set.

Mini Snug Rock aims to break down the barriers that can come with going to live music. We are creating a safe space for everyone to connect over their love of music and live performance. At the heart of Mini Snug Rock is social connection, community, access and music.

The Channel is Arts Centre Melbourne’s dedicated learning and participation space.

What to expect

Mini Snug Rock will be a relaxed event with no flashing lights.

Both the panel and the gig will have Auslan interpreters, live captions and be live-streamed via the AAV Facebook and Youtube accounts.

The Channel is accessible and there will be a quiet room.

We will have support staff available on the day and beforehand to ensure everyone can attend.

We will have small talk question cards and use the social connection system to help everyone feel safe and assert their boundaries.
