The Other Film Festival Program Launch 2026

Join us to celebrate our 2026 creative program in the city of Melbourne!

We invite you to celebrate The Other Film Festival and AAV! We are launching our program on Wednesday, 28 October at ACMI, Fed Square.

There will be screenings, speeches and networking. Enjoy a selection of local shorts from this year’s program at the launch.

Also, we are awarding the 2026 Stella Young Award.

Where: Swinburne Studio, ACMI, Federation Square, Flinders St, Melbourne.

Access: Wheelchair accessible, audio loop, audio described, Auslan, captioning, quiet room, assistance animals welcome, support staff available. Mask friendly event.
