The Gathering is our monthly online forum for Deaf and Disabled artists and industry guests led by our CEO, Caroline Bowditch.
At The Gathering in May 2021, we are excited to be joined by Emerging Writers Festival’s artistic director Ruby-Rose Pivet-Marsh and program coordinator Millie Baylis. Sharing highlights of this year’s festival and including AAV and The Other Film Festival’s partnership project PLATFORM.
As part of the PLATFORM project explore how Deaf and Disabled storytellers can use TikTok and other social media platforms to shape and develop new ways to create work and connect with audiences.
This year, Emerging Writers Festival turns 18, and to celebrate there are more than 50 in-person and digital events to attend. From Wednesday 16 – Saturday 26 June 2021, storytellers across the globe will unite to showcase their talents, tell their tales and share insights and experiences in a program filled with discovery, learning and delight.
