Join Way Out West (WOW) for a day of art and performance workshops!

Design your own deck of cards. Explore performance through dance and movement.  You can join one or both workshops.

These workshops are for young Deaf and Disabled people aged 18-30. Meet and create with other Deaf and Disabled artists.

When

When: Saturday 8 November, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm. There is a lunch break from 12 – 1 pm.

Where

St Albans Community Centre, 33 Princess Street, St Albans.

About the workshops

Lucky Fortunes: Draw your own card

When: Saturday 8 November, 10:30 am – 12 pm

Create your own deck of cards.

This is your chance to draw, paint and craft your own version. These can be playing cards, tarot cards, lucky cards, and more.

This workshop will be led by WOW artist Marc Sorbello. Find out more about Marc.

Move Like Me: Play with Performance

When: Saturday 8 November, 1 – 2:30 pm

Create a character that you can bring to life through performance.

Play with costume, music, movement and dance.

This workshop will be led by WOW artist Kate Niddrie. Find out more about Kate.
