Generate

Generate is a week-long collaboration between Lucy Guerin Inc and Arts Access Victoria.

Contemporary dancers perform amid colorful scattered materials in a gallery, while seated spectators watch; the scene feels lively and expressive.

Monday 30 November and Tuesday 1 December

Boorloo (WA)-based artists Ainslie Allan (they/them) and Mani Mae Gomes (they/them) invite Naarm audiences into their shared practice. Grounded in trust and care, their work seeks authentic, unmasked expression through voice and body. Experience movement, breath and live sound through loop pedal in this workshop. Tuesday 1 December will be a drop in session open to the public throughout the day. Registrations not required.

Wednesday 2 December

Touch Compass dancer Alisha McLennan Marler, soloist for White Noise, leads a 90-minute embodied exploration of inclusive dance practice. This workshop will create a shared space where every body can move, connect and create on its own terms. The session is open to people of all abilities and backgrounds. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring any mobility aids or supports you use.
