Arts Access Victoria and DADAA are coming together for a weeklong residency focusing on the future of Arts and Disability in Australia.

We want to identify and bring Australian Deaf and Disabled cultural leaders together. We are seeking people who have skills, drive, and diligence to change in policy and the sector. We aim to recognise current leaders and build the capacity of future leaders.
The residency is for 6-8 Deaf and Disabled artists, arts workers and creatives from across the country. The residency is in Naarm/Melbourne from 7 to 11 August 2023. Want to be part of it? Submit an EOI by 7th July 2023.
During this week, we will be discussing the future of Arts and Disability in Australia. These discussions will include but won’t be limited to:

You will be paid to attend this residency.
We will support artists to participate. This includes:
We will report on the results of these conversationsand include recommendations for future action.
