Art is for everyone! Do you want to make your arts practice more accessible?
We will cover:
This training is aimed at artists and teachers who run workshops or classes for Deaf and Disabled participants. It is also useful for Directors, arts practitioners and arts organisations working on projects with Deaf and Disabled artists in any art form. It is not aimed at Deaf and Disabled artists wishing to improve their own practice.
You will come away from the training with strategies for tapping into the authentic creativity of Deaf and Disabled people. You will learn more effective and accessible ways of bringing out the best in Deaf and Disabled artists and participants. You will find out how to create an open-minded, culturally safe environment.
