In 2024 AAV turns 50! We are presenting an exhibition from our past and present, to honour and celebrate this legacy.

The Collective digs deep into the AAV archive, highlighting projects across the decades. Witness the huge social shift from incarceration to liberation, across 50 years of practice.

The exhibition includes artworks by Deaf and Disabled artists working today that respond to the archives.

Discover works that are bold, uncompromising, authentic, and proud.

For 50 years, AAV has centred disability justice and the human rights of Deaf and Disabled people.

Join us throughout July for a journey through our past and present.

Opening night celebration Friday 5 July, 4 pm – 7 pm.
