What is Nexus 2022?

Nexus 2022 is a free professional development program.

It is for young Deaf and Disabled people who want to build a career in the arts.

Who can take part

Nexus 2022 is for Deaf and Disabled people aged 18-26.

Everyone is welcome to apply no matter your experience or artform.

What will I take away from this program?

This is a golden opportunity for you to:

  • Learn how to maintain a successful arts practise within the Disability Arts sector
  • Hear from artists and professionals in the field
  • Build a network that can support you in your future career

When will the program start?

Workshops will run on Tuesdays from 30 August to 18 October, 10 am – 1 pm.

All sessions will be run online.

Regular breaks and a support worker provided throughout the program.

Eva has performed her life long. After acquiring severe brain injury in 1999, she rebuilt a career within the disability arts sector. In recent years her career has featured advocacy and the building and facilitation of training packages. She is the perfect person to take you through the skills to do this in Nexus 2022!
