Maria Dimopoulos
“Down The Rabbit Hole” is a show by Maria Dimopoulos Showcasing work based around the Lewis Caroll book “Alice in Wonderland.” Maria has always been inspired by Alice and her adventures throughout both books. Seven year old Maria’s adventures in Heartland in many ways mimicked Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. Later in life when diagnosed with Achalasia she sought comfort in art, combining the three inspirations in this series.

Maria Mary Dimopoulos is a Greek Australian Writer, Visual Artist, and Mental Health Advocate born in Melbourne. At the age of 17, she was persuaded by her art teacher to apply for a fine art degree, and she also studied Art Curatorship and Museum Management. She is now an artist in residence at Schitzy Incorporated is part of Mayfield Ceramic Studio, and continues to be a mental health Advocate. She is passionate about all three areas.
Her life philosophy is: Experienced Life Do What You Love, Have a Balance.
