Kristy: “It’s a doll wearing a dress and a hat.”
Kristy has also embroidered onto the fabric doll.
What do you like about it?
K: “I like the colours.”
How long have you been working in this style?
This is the first time Kristy has made a doll. But Kristy has done lots of embroidery before.
The doll is based on a drawing that Kristy did after she had watched sewing videos on doll making.
What art are you working on right now?
Kristy is finishing this doll by placing an embroidered flower on the hat.
What are you making next?
K: “A bigger doll!”
